Attorney Shaan Chatterjee is an experienced immigration attorney and has won legal status for hundreds of clients. He is a first-generation American, raised by parents who immigrated from India in the 1970s. Shaan is fluent in Spanish, proficient in Portuguese, and spends as much time as necessary to fully understand each client’s needs and circumstances. He has extensive experience after working as an associate at multiple law firms and in legal services at the Justice Center of Southeast Massachusetts in Brockton.

Shaan specializes in removal defense before the Boston and Chelmsford Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals. His practice focuses on Asylum and Cancellation of Removal. He has also appeared before USCIS for clients with family-based petitions, and before the Massachusetts Probate Court when representing clients eligible for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. Shaan takes great joy in helping clients with every aspect of their immigration cases. When he is not working, Shaan enjoys basketball, poetry, and hiking with his dog.
